Terrible service. The staff was unwelcoming and unenthusiastic. To put it simply, the staff was lame. I can't believe that the staff working at this location are still employed. I myself work in a restaurant and I know what proper costumer service is and the importance of creating a positive environment for those entering the restaurant. I was very disappointed to see how the staff interacted (or lack of interaction) they had with paying costumers. When I went in tonight, there were 3 girls working, two blondes and a redhead. When I entered the location (very noticeably as the door swung open) I had to wait about a minute at the cash before the blonde girl at the front even looked up from rolling some dough to acknowledge me. She then walked over to the cash, without saying "Hello" or greeting me in anyway, so I then said "Hi" and placed my order. As I handed her the cash for my chicken sandwich, I looked down and realized that she still had her plastic gloves on, the ones she had just been using to roll out the dough. Although I opted not to say anything at the time (because she was not touching my sandwich in particular) I was still quite disgusted. She then went back to rolling out dough with the same gloves on that she had just touched money with and a computer screen. As I waited for my sandwich she continued to not greet paying costumers and just looked at them with a blank stare as though they are the ones who should be saying hello to her. This young girl was not wearing a name tag, however she had blonde hair, brown eyes, braces and a complete sourpuss attitude. I could not believe that this young girl was employed in order to be able to interact with costumers. She was really pathetic at her job, even if it is just a part-time job for her, it's a bad reflection on the California Sandwiches company. There was another blonde girl who I could see standing in a window into the kitchen area. I believe she was making sandwiches. The entire time I waited for my sandwich to be made, I watched this girl stand there looking completely disinterested, pouting, looking as though she'd rather be anywhere but there. Her disinterest was seen by all paying costumers as we waited for our food to be made. How welcoming. I believe that staff members play a large role in the reflection of how a company or restaurant is perceived by customers and tonight I was greatly disappointed. So much so that I chose to leave a review so that this location can possibly think about reassessing their hires. I've had better, friendlier, more welcoming and enthusiastic service at a McDonald's drive through than the kind I experienced tonight.
